The Royal Hall
Within a short stroll from the DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel and Spa, this stunning Edwardian theatre is the jewel in Harrogate's crown. The 'Kursaal' (Cure Hall) as it was known, opened in 1903, the work of Britain's most famous theatre designer, Frank Matcham, and architect Robert Beale. A history of providing entertainment for the rich and famous who visited Harrogate, the venue reopened in 2008 after a significant £10.8m restoration and today this magnificent building hosts various dinners, theatre, music, and comedy performances. The Royal Hall is also open to the public on selected days.

Oakdale Golf Club
Set in 130 acres of gentle valley, Oakdale Golf Club enjoys an enviable position close to the centre of Harrogate and less than a mile from the DoubleTree by Hilton Majestic Hotel and Spa. Set amidst tranquil and picturesque surroundings, it is the only 18 hole golf course lying within the town boundaries yet is famed for its rural atmosphere and peaceful position. Designed by the world-renowned golf course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie in 1914, the course has two loops of 9 holes with a par 71 (Course Rating 71.6, Slope Rating 137) white course of 6,424 yards.

Harrogate Tipple Gin School Experience
The Gin School Experience runs for approx 3 hours. During this time you will be immersed in the gin-making experience while drinking gin and tonics (so please leave the car at home)!
Start off in the Harrogate Tipple Distillery for a quick tour and see our two beautiful copper stills, where all of our gins are distilled.
Head over to the Gin School where you’ll create a personal recipe for your very own gin. Choose from over 80 dried and over 60 seasonal fresh botanicals ready to be picked from our patch in the castle gardens.
Sample it, bottle it and take it home! We will keep your recipe safe so you can reorder it in the future.

Harrogate Theate
Harrogate Theatre is a nationally respected and critically acclaimed theatre hosting a vibrant programme of drama, dance, music and comedy in their Main House, Studio Theatre, Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre.
Alongside a busy schedule of visiting productions, the theatre produces its own hugely popular pantomime each year, programmes the annual Harrogate Comedy Festival and co-produces a season of REP.

Set in the beautiful Skell valley, just ten miles from Harrogate, this 900-acre World Heritage Site offers a full day out in a truly beautiful setting. Enjoy vast abbey ruins, Elizabethan mansion, medieval deer park, one of England's most spectacular Georgian Water Gardens and the only 12th century Cistercian Mill left in Britain.
